Wellington South Fencing Club and Fencing Central invite you to attend the Central Under 11 and Under 13 #1 Competition 2020 on September 20th.

Important

Entries are due by Friday 18th September – LATE entries will be accepted but fencers will need to pay a late entry fee.

Entry Requirements: Eligibility for age group tournaments take the Fencer’s age as of 1st January 2020.

Fees

Fees will be accepted via cash during registration on the day.

Cost

$20.00 for one weapon, $30.00 for two weapons, $10.00 additional charge for Late Entry.

Format

All events will be two rounds of Pools followed by one Direct Elimination round.

Food and Drink

There may be a food stall during the tournament for people to purchase food and drink.
Fencers should bring a drink bottle with them.

Weapon & Gear Requirements

Weapons

• Under 11’s must have Size 0 or 1
• Under 13’s must have Size 2 or 3

Gear

• 350N Plastrons
• 350N Fencing Jackets
• 350N Fencing Gloves MUST be worn. Breeches with Long Socks are required for Epee.
• Track pants will be allowed for Foil – No Shorts or Bare Skin will be allowed at all.
• Masks must have 350N Foil Bibs, Head Wires and Safety Straps.
  Chest Plates MUST be worn.
