We are pleased to announce our second term holiday program for new and developing fencers over the April school holidays. It is a great chance for friends and family members to try out a new sport over the holidays. At the end of the second session there will be a mini tournament and participants can try out electric fencing, just like at the Olympics.
Our last holiday program booked out quickly so get in early to avoid disappointment.
Current fencers are also welcome. We are also encouraging school based groups who are looking to build school representative teams.
This holiday program is suited for future fencers 7 and up. No experience is required. All fencing equipment is provided for a safe and fun time.
Join us this April 15 and 16, 2025, from 9am to 12 noon at Upper Hutt College in Upper Hutt, Wellington for an engaging program.
Register before April 13th and it is just $80 for both days – $90 after April 13 or on the day. Save $10 off per extra family member.
This is a great chance for kids who don’t enjoy team sports to give something new a go. Fencing is a wonderful way to improve fitness, build resilience as well as make new friends.
We also have the gym available for free fencing from 1pm to 5pm on those days. This is use by koha, and we hope fencers travelling to the Wellington region for the New Zealand Under 15 and Cadet Championships will take the opportunity to have a fence before the competition.
