Fencing Central Open 2019

Hawke’s Bay Blades and Fencing Central invite you to attend the Central Open Tournament 2019.

This tournament will consist of both individual and team events in all weapons. Teams will be run as a Swiss Hyper Teams format.

Date: Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October.

Venue: Havelock North High School Gym, 153 Te Mata Road

Entry Fees:

  • $30.00 for one weapon
  • $40.00 for two+ weapons
  • Free entry for team events

Important Information

Billeting can be arranged. Please contact Jules on hbfencingclub@gmail.com to organise this.

A food and drink stall will be available during the tournament.

Entries are due by Thursday 10th October.

Free Fencing Thursday 11th at 5pm

Hi all. There will be free fencing from 5pm on Thursday the 11th of July and will finish around 7pm (or earlier depending on numbers and when everyone wants to wrap up). All current members of Hutt Valley Fencing Club are welcome to attend.

Central Secondary School Team Championships

Hutt Valley Fencing Club and Fencing Central invites you to attend the 2019 Fencing Central Secondary School Team Championships on 22 and 23 June.

Entries are due by the 20th of June 2019

Mixed Team Epee 12.00pm Registration 12.30pm Start
Mixed Team Sabre 1.30pm Registration 2.00pm Start
Sunday 23rd June
Mixed Team Foil 8.45am Registration 9.15am Start

Entry Fees

  • $30 for 1 weapon
  • $40 for 2+ Weapons
  • $10 late entry fee

All competitors must be affiliated with Fencing New Zealand. Please affiliate through Fencing New Zealand.
