Entries for Trefoil Competition 2023 are now open for Saturday 18^th and Sunday 19^th of February

Trefoil is a ranked event in 2023.

Fencers can register but do not need to pay until the day. Payments on the day must be in cash.

We are pleased to announce that Hutt Valley Fencing Club will be running an In House Foil competition on the 10th of December. This will take place instead of our normal Saturday morning training. 

There is no additional charge to compete in this competition. We will be running from St Bernard’s at the end of Anderson Grove as Normal as well. Please take of the note of the timetable below:

9.00am – 9.30am – Warm up and registration

9.30am- 12.00pm – Fencing commences 

12.00pm – 12.30pm – Prize giving

12.30pm – 1.00pm – Kit down/Pack down

We would like to formally announce the Baby Champagne competition for 2022. We host this competition annually and we would like to invite our members to compete and assist with the day’s proceedings. This competition will be taking place on the 6th of November, at the YMCA Upper Hutt.

Gear Requirements

Whites: 350N Plastrons, 350N Fencing Jackets, and 350N Fencing Gloves & Breeches with Long Socks are required for Epee. Track pants for Foil – No Bare Skin will be allowed at all.
Mask: Masks must have 350N Foil Bibs, Head Wires and Safety Straps.
Weapons: U13 – Size 3 and smaller, U11 Size 2 and smaller
Lames must be in working condition & chest plates MUST be worn.

Entry Requirements

Entry fee: $20.00 for one event, $30.00 for 2+ events.
Entries are due by Friday 4th November. Late entries will not be accepted.
